| In 1997 I was injured while working on a demolition
project at the CNA building on Wabash St in Chicago. I was working as
a stationary engineer in between the first and second floors removing
pipe when I stepped on an unmarked trap door and plunged 30 feet onto
a loading dock. I suffered a severely fractured ankle that required surgery.
A family member recommended that I hire William Buddy Meyers Ltd. to represent me. Ian met with me at my home and explained the whole legal process to me. When he filed a construction negligence case in court in Cook County, I was kept informed of all the important issues in the case. William Buddy Meyers ltd. was able to negotiate a very substantial settlement on my behalf. In addition to a financial recovery we were able to secure a substantial waiver of workers compensation benefits that my employer paid on my behalf. All in all, I am completely satisfied with the results obtained by William Buddy Meyers Ltd.. They were professional, hard working, honest and aggressive. I recommend them highly. -- Tom Browne, Engineer, Age 33 |
